POC scope notice.
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone who uses the
Velta Platform. It defines conduct that is not allowed. Breach of this AUP may result in content
removal, account suspension, termination, and — where conduct is illegal — reporting to authorities.
1. Content you must not upload or transmit
- Illegal content, or content that encourages, facilitates, or depicts illegal activity.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Such content will be reported to the Canadian Centre for Child Protection (cybertip.ca) and law enforcement.
- Sexually explicit or pornographic content. Velta is a fitness platform, not an adult platform.
- Content that promotes violence, terrorism, or mass harm.
- Content that promotes self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous weight-loss practices.
- Hate speech, slurs, or content that discriminates against any group protected by applicable Canadian human-rights legislation.
- Harassment, bullying, or threats against any person.
- Personal information of anyone other than yourself, including doxxing.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property.
- Malware, viruses, or any code designed to harm systems or data.
- Spam, chain messages, pyramid schemes, or deceptive marketing.
- Misleading health claims or unauthorised medical or therapeutic advice.
2. Conduct that is not allowed
- Impersonating another person, a coach, or Velta.
- Creating multiple accounts to evade suspension.
- Misrepresenting your province, territory, or country of residence, or any other eligibility information, in order to obtain a service for which you do not qualify.
- Attempting to circumvent the Platform to pay or be paid outside Velta (see Member ToS Section 12 and Coach Agreement Section 10).
- Scraping, crawling, or harvesting data from the Platform.
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or probing the Platform for vulnerabilities outside an authorised bug-bounty programme.
- Interfering with the availability, integrity, or security of the Platform.
- Using the Platform to make unsolicited commercial offers to other members.
3. Reporting violations
If you see content or conduct that violates this AUP:
- Use the in-Platform Report button on the relevant content.
- Or email support@velta.fit (subject line "Trust") with details and a link where possible.
We aim to review reports within 48 hours. Content that is clearly illegal (for
example, CSAM) is removed immediately and escalated.
4. Enforcement
Depending on severity, enforcement actions include:
- Content removal.
- Warning and educational notice.
- Temporary suspension (feature-level or full).
- Account termination.
- Referral to law enforcement or child-protection authorities where required by law.
For coaches, enforcement may also include: loss of verified status, withholding of disputed
payouts pending investigation, and termination under Section 13 of the Coach Partnership Agreement.
5. Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was in error, email support@velta.fit
(subject line "Appeal") within 30 days with your account email and reasons. We will review and
respond within 10 business days.
6. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes take effect 30 days after notice.
